How often should you feed pinkie mice to an adult leopard gecko?

Please answer the following q's. Thanks

1) how should the mouse be prepared i.e. should it be frozen, put in fridge/ cupboard? If in freezer/fridge should it be fed cold or allowed to heat up?

2) how often should these be fed and how many?

Thanks very much!!How often should you feed pinkie mice to an adult leopard gecko?
You should NOT be feeding your Leopard Gecko pinkie mice at all. Unless it is a female who is breeding, which is the ONLY time they should be given to a Leopard Gecko. They are not nutritious whatsoever, they are very high in fat, which means they are terrible for your gecko's dietary needs.

If you want to give your Leo a treat, give it a wax worm once or twice a month, but no more than that. Wax worms are also very high in fat, and they are addicting, so you don't want to give them to your gecko very often. How often should you feed pinkie mice to an adult leopard gecko?
leopard geckos are insectiverous, and so dont really need pinkies, except perhaps for breeding females who might enjoy them, and benefit from the calcium and extra fat

saying that however, pinkies are extreamly fatty, and so not good for the geckos at all - i'd say give them once every few months at the most - but they really dont need them.

you should feed any reptile frozen feeder mice anyways to avoid inury and disease that may occur (as well as not being cruel to the mice), so if you buy a frozen pinkie you should leave it out in a safe place to warm up to room temperature - make sure it is fully defrosted, and the pinkie shouldnt be any longer than the geckos head.
