I have 4 female mice and 2 males. How soon until one gets pregnant?

I don't know how often mice reproduce. Should I be expecting one of the female to become pregnant? I have 4 frmales and 2 males.I have 4 female mice and 2 males. How soon until one gets pregnant?
Expect all your females to be pregos in no time. Expect to have so many mice you wont know what to do with them.


Be ready to start cleaning cages and trying to get rid of the wild mice who will get into your home, they smell the pet mice.


Breeding mice without having somewhere for them to go only causes stress. Hopefully you have contact in the pet shops or reptile people. I sold five hundred bucks worth of mice to one pet shop in 4 weeks at a buck a piece. There is money in it, just have to keep that smell down. I had a building which I breed mine in, also other forms of rodents.....it was fun and I stayed real busy...

As long as they are mature they should start making babies really soon. Maybe within a month or so.

female mice will be able to breed at around for weeks of age. i used to breed mice. you can expect a litter about every three weeks.
Well iv kept pet rats for some years now. They breed At about 11 months of age and in summer. Sometimes they will not breed because they are stressed. The most babys my rats had was 15 but on other accasions i have only had 9. There are also many websites that have loads of info on rats. It also depends on what type of rats your keeping. If there special rats they will breed often. If there normal rats they wont breed as much. :)
