im writing as essay for my english on of mice and men. one of the things i have to do is talk about crooks and and the racism he suffers. How ere black people treated in the 1930s? No, they didnt have equal rights back then. They were treated like slaves and were not allowed to mingle with white people. That is why Crooks has got his own room.
