Why are elephants afraid of mice?

I'm pretty sure this is true because i saw it on TV before, but i don't know the reason why. why would such a huge animal be afraid of a tiny little squeak? Why are elephants afraid of mice?
Yes, you saw it on Myth Busters. If you remember, the Elephants did not run away in a panic, so being ';afraid'; is relative. They did move away and avoid them. No one really knows why. It is my feeling that it is because the mouse is so small they are afraid that they may harm it if it comes to close by accidentally stepping on it or something.

Elephants are very sensitive creatures to their surroundings, and will not even step over a gully in their way from the fear of falling. It only takes a small, shallow moat to contain them in Zoos.

Since mice move fast and scurry about a lot, maybe it could be the strangeness of it.Why are elephants afraid of mice?
Elephants are not afraid of mice, it is a myth. Most people think so because of cartoons and movies that show elephants freaking out when they see a mouse.
