Nix the Decon. They will die in the camper. Imagine the smell when you open it. Put mothballs around. They don't like it and it keeps out moths too. Mothball odor will go away after you air out the camper. As far as steel wool is concerned, they will just gnaw a hole next to it. I quit using it years ago.Any idea's on keeping mice out of a stored camper?

Get lots of de-con and place them everywhere. They will eat it and die.
