i am giving him 1 adult mouse a weekHow Many mice / what size, for a 2 ft ball python
That is perfect. Stan is just over 2 ft and I feed him one adult mouse a week. It is really better to feed them a smaller meal than they'll take because it helps lower refusals and helps them live longer. You can judge by how big around your snake is and how big around your prey is. If there is a bump after you feed him that is a good size, if there isn't you can think about moving up a food size.
If you feed live just be cautious, the bigger the prey gets the more dangerous they can be to your pet if he doesn't take the prey right away, so make sure you watch him - especially when you get up to rats! (and btw... a full grown male BP should never be eating more than a small to medium rat once a week, despite people that try to tell you to feed him jumbo rats or the like)How Many mice / what size, for a 2 ft ball python
one mouse the same girth as the body of the snake about once a week if you feed them too much they become constipated. dont handle them after they eat. their insides become distended and you could cause internal bleeding.
You're doing good. One adult mouse a week for a 2 foot BP is great. When he is full grown either give him two mice a week or a rat.
you shouldnt feed it a mouse bigger than the biggest part of its body and a younger ball python should get fed every week and an older one every 10 to 14 days
ok the diameter of the rat should be the same as the thickest part of the snakes body or a lil bigger
bro has same thing.. but he doesnt feed him adult mice.. feeds him like medium size every week
