How do i raise abandoned newborn mice?

i just found four newborn mice in an abandoned nest and i'm not sure what the best way to raise them would be...right now we are trying to feed them milk and keep them under a heating lamp but is there anything else we should be doing...please give as much and as detailed information as possible...thanksHow do i raise abandoned newborn mice?
Make sure the heating lamp doesn't get too warm for them, and I would try that kitten or puppy formula that's what we did with our gerbils when the mom abandon them when I was younger. Only one survived though. Make sure you are prepared for that. Death is a natural thing and even bottle-raising kittens or puppies can result in a tragic loss.

If they make it past the bottle feeding stage, I would probably separate boys from girls and find them new homes.

Honestly this is hard. Baby rodents are hard to hand raise, and if they do pass on its not likely something you did. I would call a vet in your area that deals with rats (and other rodents) and ask them what to do.How do i raise abandoned newborn mice?
the best thing would be to get a hamster tube and give it milk through that. make sure there is plenty of comfort for them. try a bed of straw and keep them in a cage. this happened to me once, but with rabbits. youu seem to be doing a pretty good job, just dont keep them too warm, or youu could kill them by their bodies' overheating. =] good luck.
your going to have to find another mouse and milk it. tweezers work alright but put some rubber guards on the end because that metal is cold. then your going to have to find some barbie doll baby bottles and use those. you can tear a paper towel into little pieces and use that for diapers.
