My apartment is being exterminated for mice - is it safe for my cat to stay during the process?

nopeMy apartment is being exterminated for mice - is it safe for my cat to stay during the process?
nooooo take it somewhere else untill its doneMy apartment is being exterminated for mice - is it safe for my cat to stay during the process?
No it is not, Not even plants, can stay in.
its really not safe for any kind of pet to be left in the apartment during that process, not even fish. i would recommend finding some one who can watch your cat for a few days or bord her somewhere
NO!
NO !!! Take the cat with you .
Can you stay home for the process? Your cat needs to stay out of the house for the same amount of time that you need to stay out. I would also make sure that they don't lay any bait/ poison down that your cat can get to because that can kill your cat. Good Luck!
No it's not it could make them sick
Definately not. You need to take the cat somewhere else, maybe for a walk or something. You can get a cat carrier and take him/her with you.
Dear i am i cat expert!of course!that is if they love to chase everything that moves!(meow!)love your furry friend!
It depends on what they are using. Be sure to let them know that you have a cat. They are probably going to use traps of some kind. To be safe, keep the cat in a closed room away from whatever they are doing or have someone catsit it.
You should definitely take your cat out your apartment during the extermination process. The chemicals that are used to kill the mice could harm the cat as they are very toxic.
NO UNLESS THE CATS DOING THE CATHING IT COULD GET CAUGHT IN A TRAP
No way. Get your cat out of there while it's being done and be sure to ask what precautions to take when you bring kitty back in.
Oh my god...NO! When the parks dept puts poison out for rats, they post numerous signs about not walking your dogs in the park. Poison whether propellant or powdered, will kill any animal, especially when it's a pet, low to the ground. GEEZ!

Also, if a cat of dog bites/eats a dying mouse, they will be instantly poisoned.
Probably not. In the first apartment I lived in, we'd get exterminated for roaches every so often, and they'd advise us to get all pets out of the building.
noway take the cat to a safe place until it's done with! You wouldn't want to sty there either would you??
I'd say no, but you can ask the exterminator. If he is putting poisoned bait, or using any type of ';fogger';, then no.
Take the cat and get out for awhile. On the off chance that a mouse is contaminated but not eradicted, I'd wait at least a week before bringing the kitty back.
absolutely NO!!! Please make sure that your kitty is placed in a safe place away from your house before you have the mice-extermination process.
