Curly has motivation towards hatred of big men because he is small.
Lennie fears that him and George will never have a farm of their own with rabbits because of him.
Candy's fear is that because his dog became useless they shot it, he's afraid that because he's old he will become useless and the same may happen to him.
George's fear is that something may happen to Lennie because of the way he is.
