High pitch device that will make mice leave?

Is there such a device? I feel like I saw one in skymall or something.....a device which makes a sound that's so high humans can't hear it, but it makes mice leave? Any info, experience? ThanksHigh pitch device that will make mice leave?
Yes, there are devices available that claim to be able to do this, but there is no available peer-reviewed proof that they actually work as advertised. The sound is merely uncomfortable for rodents - and they quickly get used to it and return. Honestly - save your money. they sell them at lowes or home depot, it plugs in an outlet. Also serves as a night light too.
Hi frequency sound device, they faded in popularity about 20 years ago, seems the critters get used to the sound and you must change the frequency quite often, it may be painful to other animals with acute hearing also, and we might register it on a level we are not aware of. I tried them years ago. The mice didn't care. maybe they were deaf.
