What is the next step up from asking your mom for pet mice?

my mom is hard to convince to get mice . my friend and i want 2 pet mice to share . my dad says basicly yes but my mom says talk to your dad about it . but she is barely saying yes so if anyone could help me talk her into getting them that would be great!!What is the next step up from asking your mom for pet mice?

I would ask for dwarf hamsters or gerbils. I would also suggest the extra chores to show you are responsible. really most people have a negative reaction to mice. Try taking your mom to a pet store and showing her all the different colors of mice and cute they really are.
Just show her you are responsible enough to care for the mice. Read about them and their eating habits ect. Then devise a plan to work off the amount of the mic and cage and food (like chores, i know sucks). And your mom should be impressed enough to say yes.
i would be extra good and tell her i will take care of it clean its cage feed it and play with it .i will .but you have to do all that
Start offering to do extra chores to earn money to buy mouse habitat and toys and food. Show them you will be responsible for your own pet. Then ask some more.
